Yes. One of my friends was murdered at Lake Dala recently.
We don't know who killed her and I don't think she knows either.
(She came back during the fog BTW.)

How do murder detectives generally
How do private investigators generally solve a murder?

I usually consult for the police, so I have use of their resources. But generally we take a look at the scene of the crime, do an autopsy...

Which probably isn't possible in this situation.

Yeah, I don’t think any of those things are possible at this stage.

I can ask the victim questions though. That’s probably something most private investigators don’t get the opportunity to do.
Is there anything I should ask besides the obvious, like “What did the murderer look like?”

Is it possible for me to speak to the victim myself? There are some things that might be overlooked doing this secondhand.

I don't know if that's a good idea.
It's a very unstable situation as the moment.
And I don't think she'd appreciate knowing that I brought in outside help.

She's supposed to be visiting us later today.

um. more paintings actually.

when the angry mob came thru a few months ago they tore up our apartment and grabbed my friend. shes okay now but when the rotans left a bunch of people came back and stole all of my stuff.

i dont think im ever going to get the money or valuables back but id really like any of my paintings back that werent destroyed. theyre my livelihood and i really dont like the idea that someone that a thief has it hanging up on their wall.

I've received some tips about the perpetrator who attacked the party.
He was a man, human, and claimed to be part of larger group, probably anti-monster in nature.
Someone who saw him was able to provide sketches of his face and mask.

No one got his name. Do you think a sketch alone would be enough to put on a wanted poster? [It certainly would be on Pandora.]

It'll have to do. Obviously a better sketch or even a photograph would be preferred, but we'll have to work with what we have.
